What is peptide therapy?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that occur naturally in the body. They act as signalling molecules, telling cells what to do — from repairing tissue to regulating appetite.
Peptide therapy involves the medical use of specific peptides to support various health goals. In Australia, peptide therapies are prescription-only medications that must be prescribed by a registered medical practitioner.
How does it work?
Your AHPRA-registered GP assesses your health history, current medications, and goals during a video consultation. If clinically appropriate, they prescribe a personalised peptide protocol.
The prescription is sent to a TGA-compliant Australian compounding pharmacy, where your medication is prepared and shipped directly to you via cold-chain delivery.
Who is it suitable for?
Peptide therapy may be considered for a range of health goals including recovery, weight management, performance, anti-ageing, cognitive support, and immune health. However, suitability is always determined by your prescribing GP based on your individual clinical assessment.
A consultation does not guarantee a prescription. Your GP will only prescribe if they determine it is clinically appropriate for you.
